Sara Fitzgerald's daughter Kate is just two years old when she is diagnosed with a rare form of leukaemia. Reeling with the helpless shock of it, Sara knows she will do anything -- whatever it takes - to save her child.

Jag såg filmen för 1,5 år sedan, fick boken av Asia julen 2009, jag läste ut den för någon månad sedan. En riktigt bra bok måste jag säga. Den är skriven av Jodi Picoult, det är den första boken jag läst av denna författare, och jag vet redan med mig att jag kommer att läsa flera. Den va riktigt välskriven, bra handling och man ville inte lägga ifrån sig boken. Som sagt har ju sett filmen sedan innan, så visste på ett ungefär hur boken skulle vara, men som jag nästan alltid säger, boken är så mycket bättre, så tycker att ni ska ta och läsa den om ni inte har gjort det.
